What does US Intelligence mean? Some anonymous source or someone on the record? Since the middle of 2016 the track record for anonymous US Intelligence statements is not very good. TBH I can't think of anything leaked anonymously by US intelligence that has turned out to be true. If this was leaked anonymously it is likely yet just another disinformation campaign. If someone went on the record I will be much more inclined to believe them.

 

They actually have been saying it since Jan. Reports have been out there that the Russians hacked Ukraine in Jan and were planning an October suprise.

Of course, they must be slipping as when they doctored the emails, they screwed up on the photoshop job and made a crappy forgery:

 

Who has been saying that? Someone on the record or anonymous sources? The anonymous sources are batting zero when it comes to anything related to Trump and elections.

Saying “Anonymous Sources Blah blah” is just another way of saying “fake news” at anything you don’t like. Basically when your only response is “anonymous sources” you already lost the debate and just sound like a whiny baby who can’t deal with reality.

If the Wapo or NYT release a report that is based on anonymous sourcing the Trump admin has the ability to refute. They have some folks in high ranking positions who could refute and have in the past when stories are incorrect. You know this and you don’t want to hear it because you want what you think is your get outa jail free card.

Why would Joe Biden put his family through this? Do you mean why would his son put his family through this? At this point the vast majority of Americans do not believe anything that comes from Trump or Barr or anyone associated with him.

The saturation point was COVID and his lying about it...... the recordings of him lying. The American people shut down...

William Barr was huffing and puffing a few weeks ago that all of his released materials should mean more to the American people..... but they just do not get that there is a saturation point of no return and they have hit it.

Nothing released between now and the election will matter.

This Hunter Biden news story is a desperate flail. It is entirely possible that the emails are Russian forgeries. That all tracks with what is believed to have happened in 2016, and the idea that Hunter Biden would just drop off and abandon a personal computer with compromising info on it, and this comes to light right before the election, should raise red flags.

But even if the emails are legit, I see no “smoking gun” in any of it with respect to Joe Biden, so who cares?

 

Just off the top of my head anonymous sources did first report that in the call with Ukranian President Zelensky Trump asked Zelensky "to do us a favor". That was confirmed by Vindman, Bolton and other but also in the transcript that the WH released of the call.

Anonymous sources reported that WH knew COVID-19 was more serious than initially reported back in February and March later confirmed by Trump himself in the Woodward's tapes.

Anonymous sources reported that Rex Tillerson called Trump a "F--king Moron" which has not been denied by Tillerson..

 

What am I missing here?

If all of is actually true we a email saying some ukrainian guy was introduced to Joe Biden and its bad because Biden said he never met him?

And that Hunter does drugs?

Because this seems really low stakes even if true, makes me think the Russians are now trolling the trump camp.
