Why is nobody talking about this in this section? This will no doubt be headed to the supreme court next year and will test Barrett judicial decision making. We know where Kavanaugh stands on the issue and now with Barrett, this could be a landmark case. If I'm the democrats I secretly pray that the Supreme court upholds this decision. This would allow Biden to "pack" the case as gay rights is a 80/20 issue versus abortion which is a 50/50 decision.

This will be a landmark case that will trigger the democrats to packing the courts.

The change comes after a recommendation from Governor Greg Abbott’s office, according to Edgar Walters with the Texas Tribune, on the basis that "the code [of conduct's] nondiscrimination protections went beyond protections laid out in the state law that governs how and when the state may discipline social workers."

    https://texreg.sos.state.tx.us/publ...p_ploc=&pg=1&p_tac=&ti=22&pt=34&ch=781&rl=201

"(1) A social worker shall not refuse to perform any act or service for which the person is licensed solely on the basis of a client's age; gender; race; color; religion; national origin; disability; sexual orientation; gender identity and expression; or political affiliation."

I'm curious what exactly is the referenced state law that governs how and when the state may discipline social workers, and how that relates to this.

I think you may need to do a little more research on your abortion numbers.
