Made some good moves, made some bad moves. Hated the constant trading of players. Had a winning philosophy, but got too obsessed with it and never realized that there needs to be a balance. You win a lot of regular season games, but have to be able to change things up in the playoffs.

So as a Rockets fan and a fan of "real" basketball, I'm not gonna miss him. I'll still be watching my Rockets. They might be more enjoyable to watch now, if they get away from this small ball and shooting 50+ 3's b.s.

When I was STH it was when Yao and McGrady were the stars. He was new at that time. He also was a suit and tie guy. I noticed the casual look came when Tillman took over the Rockets. Tillman is causal too.

There will prob be a silent blacklist for Murry cuz China.

Ofc he can sleep on Hinkie's couch in SF and search the cushions for stock options lying around.

China wins again! To think this wasn't premeditated is foolish. The writing was on the wall after the writing on the tweet. Morey cost not just the Rockets millions of dollars but the entire NBA! China wins and Houston lost a great one. I hope when things cool down he is brought back in a way. F* China!

i actually like morey... dude just couldn’t shut his mouth. You think fertitta was gonna let him severe Chinese ties and keep him? We can’t even get to the final now because it cost the NBA money to (not) show rockets games in China. Morey was good but he thought he was smarter than he actually was. Too smart for his own good and he doomed himself with those China comments.

While players may be aware that it is a business, they still don't want to be treated like a pawn.

Over paid ariza the first time and he flopped then traded. D12 signed after noone wanted him with the Lakers drama. Eg noone wanted him because of injuries. Pj was not a sought out player. And all of them were at one time trade bait if not every year.

100% correct. I'm a fan of strategic basketball. Real basketball. The Rockets under Morey were simply a math equation. We weren't even competing for a championship, and Morey knew it. I'd like us to get back to the Xs & O's
