Where can I get a good media console for hopefully <1000?

The one you listed is under 1k. And they have regular sales. CB2 will ship it to a warehouse in Spring Branch. The only thing comparable in Houston is West Elm, Crate & Barrel (CB1) or going vintage. I'm happy with my CB2 console.

I got a bad ass one at Star Furniture a decade ago for $600. No longer there but they still have good prices.

I bought one for around $600 from wayfair Have an 80' tv with center channel speaker on it currently with about 5 inches to spare on each side while we wait for the new house to be finished. I had to assemble it, but if you take your time to put it together right its a very solid product. They also have a great selection to choose from.

 

Amazon has a huge selection and you can filter your options by price, size, design and material.
