    Maybe it is easier in order to avoid people questioning her bias.... shorten the hearing.

    yesterday, Sen Amy K asked ACB if Voting intimidation is illegal, to which she answered " i preferred not to opine on a hypothetical question"

    Amy K responded, " i'll make it easy for you", proceeded to read the US Federal Law that spells out Voting Intimidation as being illegal

    If her mission is to come off as a partisan who won't answer any question from a politician not-of-the-nominating party, she is "nailing it."

    If she's trying to impress the country as a straight-shooter and a non-partisan profession judge, well, meh... maybe that ship sailed when she appeared with Blobimus Horriblus.

    Doubt it... the senate under trump has abandoned its constitutional responsibility of advise and consent. The USSC seats have simply become hyperpartisan placement to achieve the far right goals (overturn RvW, end ACA and pre-existing condition coverage, end gay marriage and voter rights protections).

    Instead, republicans will complain about the treatment their judge candidates received as they avoided any accountability to the American people.

    She is purposely evasive to the point of being dishonest because she knows her extreme views on issues like Roe v. Wade would possibly lose her confirmation votes.
