This is what really scares me, some progressives are monetizing the discontent of Bernie followers and young progressives and will continue to do so if we have all 3 houses, they will be the new source of gridlock and republicans will reap the rewards. Agreed. Her number she wants pushed is overloaded but the media has consistently portrayed Republicans as bad faith actors in this issue (TARP rnd 1, Obama shutdowns, etc...) that McConnell's intransigence is the bigger issue. People want their money for obvious reasons to the point where they'll rationalize Nancy breaking down with a "less better" deal then broker another deal next year with presumably a different president. Terrible negotiation tactic for both the short and long terms. Trump and Repugs are so deep on "winners and losers" to outright claiming "Blue State Bailout" that any compromise package will frontload their interests with struggling Americans as hostage. Wheeling and dealing "smaller focused packages" is pretty much the same low effort bullshit we've come to love and appreciate with Republlican governance.

She has already compromised. That's what Pelosi is actually doing and why she got pissed at the media with them hanging it on Pelosi.
