NBC News better go after him because this is otherwise free advertising. Don't these ******* networks learn their lesson?
My gosh... I guess you can't be too shocked each time trump and his supporters find a new low to go...
While it won't be popular with seniors in Florida (I doubt many see it), I do have to say, it's kind of funny.
Yes these are desperate times. The witness, Eric W. Rose, a crisis management expert, detailed a lengthy advertising proposal across several platforms that would cost just over $846,000. He did not suggest a time frame by which the ad campaign would need to take place. But the proposal mentions several times the impressions Ms. Manigault Newman’s comments could have left with “voters,” and was filed a few weeks before the election. “It would be my recommendation that Ms. Manigault Newman pays for the corrective ads/corrective statements outlined above to counteract the long-term adverse effects of information that appeared as a result of Ms. Manigault Newman violating her confidentially agreement,” Mr. Rose wrote. He concluded: “If corrective ads are not placed, voters may continue to hold beliefs about the president as a result of Ms. Manigault Newman’s statements.”
So yeah that's the only reason Pelosi is doing this. It's amazing that people think it's simply down to how much money and who gets credit, its doubly amazing that the people who usually preach a no compromise all out assault on Republicans are now saying we need to make a deal. Those same people complained about Obama trying to do deals with Republicans. I wonder what has changed? Could it be that now these people have something to take shots at Pelosi about? What happens once that 1200 dollars are spent? These are some of the issues, its deeper than not giving Trump a win. Pelosi in her letter to Democratic members listed five areas of disagreement she was working with Mnuchin to resolve, some of which have been longstanding disputes since the passage in March of the first big coronavirus bill, the $1.7 trillion CARES Act. She said the loss of about 280,000 teaching and education support staff jobs reflected in the September payrolls report showed the need to give more aid to state and local governments. The White House and Senate Republicans have said Democrats are seeking far too much money on that front, noting some states have not used up aid included in the March bill yet. She also said there was disagreement about the amount of money to help the jobless. “The GOP number does not measure up to the need that we both recognize, particularly as long-term unemployment rises and families are exhausting their benefits. This is separate from our disagreement over the dollar amount for the enhanced unemployment benefit. She also listed disputes over the Earned Income and Child Tax Credits, policy language on testing and tracing programs and a $44 billion disagreement on appropriations funding. “These are five notable areas of concern. There are other areas of disagreement that are part of the discussion, which we continue to work on as well,” she wrote."
What? Its amazing the progressives are now talking about compromise, when it came to health care nobody was trying to hear that ****.
Those that have already set minds will watch the town hall of their set candidate... its a shame those with truly open minds are the people hurt by this...
HAHA MEOW! Look at the level of concern on the face of the feline in the background. It only makes the joke funnier, doesn't it? I especially like the vacant looks on the face of the couple. It really helps the gag hit home! HA HA MEOW! Well done! WELL DONE!! Who the man? - YOU DA MAN!
Yeah I was noticing the irony of progressives like Enjeti who had previously criticized Pelosi of being too much of a compromiser now blasting her for not compromising with Trump and McConnell.
I odn't know who that guy is but he has a picture of himself and Donald Trump on his twitter page which consists of RT'ng right wing garbage (Trump russia is a hoax, Ukraine biden, coney barrett is the best) - he's about as progressive as an Aunt Jemima bottle.
He's a commentator for the Hill. I don't follow him closely but he has been very critical of Pelosi before from the Left. He was also one of those who was saying last Spring Biden should be replaced by Sanders, or someone more liberal, because Biden was suffering from dementia.
