irrelevant player talking useless noise...nothing to see here

looks like he doesn’t really want to say it with his chest either...talk sh*t and then go private when u catch heat

give Lebron his respect and stop hating...people said he no longer cared about winning and would get exposed in the West...2 years in the WC, and he already has a title laughing at all his haters

I don't think it was a dig a Lebron per se.....It is TRUE though. Players never used to be this friendly. It's more of a dig at the current sensitive culture of the current NBA than directly at Lebron. Players were known for winning with their drafted team, or after mid season trade. NBA currently sucks. NBA's whole plan was to eventually get Lebron in LA. It's LA media and NBA narrative to have these players move to markets that favor them and story lines they wish to convey, period. Magic Johnson is literally tampering trying to lure Luka to LA recently. The NBA is damn near unwatchable. Why was the AD trade not vetoed by the league for basketball reasons? Lebron wanted to go as a free agent, fine. Players demanding trades is getting to be a bad trend. It only benefits league promoted franchises. Since Yao retired and Morey sent that China tweet NBA has definitely pretended we don't exist which is fine, we are used to it by now.

NBA agents, former players (buddy, buddy media analyst), NBA touch foul Referee's foster this type of culture. Old school players were more rough, and had more pride, and were not this soft. People know Lebron is great but not more than Jordan. Former LA players and LeBron friends have push this idea to the kids this era that can be deceived. Plus he actually came so they all have to fall in line now to say he is the best. If the game was different like it was would he still be great? Of course! His durability probably not so much. Somebody would have put him on his ass already a couple of time. He can play for so long now, just like Curry can now because the game is not the same. You can't touch these guys.

IMO is a shot at Lebron, who else is 4 of 10 in finals? Lebron deserves it as the basketball mercenary he is. He'll jump ships every time his current team is not a contender, he's done not once, not twice...

but then he goes and makes his next team a contender and wins a title within 2 years

every team he’s come to was doing nothing before he arrived, and every team he left was garbage after left...Miami won 37 games the very next season he left for Cleveland

Here's a hypothetical question: Two players, each with 15 year careers. Player A is 6-0 in the finals, player B is 6-7 in the finals. All else being equal (i.e. ignoring context/storylines), who had the better career?

Obviously the answer is player B. If player A played for 15 years and 6-0 in the finals, that implies that he lost before even reaching the finals in the other 9 years. Player B at least reached the finals 7 of those 9 years. Since when is losing before reaching the finals better than winning all those series and losing in the finals?

But the number of basketball fans that claim a 6-0 finals record is better than 6-7 finals record, solely based on the finals record, is baffling to me. 100% win rate, they claim. Well no, they lost the other 9 years, they just lost even earlier.

    he’s a hater

Bron has won a title with 3 different franchises...he just won a title at age 35 averaging 30, 12, and 9 on 59% shooting in the finals, and he did it in the West, the conference everybody was swearing up and down would expose him...that’s what people are celebrating

Speights out here referencing a Kobe three peat when Shaq was the guy and the one who won every FMVP

This is true but can be looked at two ways. Every team he went to had another star or was acquired the following season. It's not like he has done it all alone.

he definitely hasn’t done it alone, but it’s clear that without him, none of those teams would have ever come close to even sniffing a finals appearance...Lakers led by AD this year are the 8th seed at best IMO

Kyrie and Love couldn’t even make the playoffs before Lebron, and AD’s teams were usually in the lottery

Bosh was either missing the playoffs or getting trounced in the 1st round...the only guy who had really accomplished anything of note was Wade, but that was back in 06...after 06, he had 3 1st round exits and a 15 win season

    Best mercenary of all time.

I'd like to see James Harden with AD.

    Or Wade/Bosh...

    Or Kyrie/Love...

Last time checked Mo Speights didn't role player 3 peat either.

Pippen is better equipped to mouth off on this.

I'm not saying he is not great but he has his faults. Great as he is they are much lesser than others.... but Lebron honestly wouldn't have won in Cleveland in 2016 if it wasn't for Kyrie hitting that shot. He was looking real lost before that. So to say he did not benefit from playing with other stars is not true. Aug. 22 2017 Irving was traded to Boston. 2017 Warriors beat Cavs in the Finals 4-1. The Following season 2018 Warriors beat Cavs 4-0. Without a viable 2nd star Lebron leaves goes to LA. Lakers don't make the playoffs 2019 without AD. AD is traded to LA. Now he has another young superstar. Lebron has had the best help available and when he didn't he has not really proven anything alone. Except to jump ship when stuff gets tough. I guess when your that good, you can. Guys were just built different back in the day.

Does mo speights remember he shot a wide open jumper after the buzzer rang in game 7 of the 2016 finals. As Lebron was embraced by teammates under the basket? He had the closest view.

The hilarious thing about 4-6 is somehow Jordan stans (and Jordan is my goat btw) have made it seem as if losing in the first round is better than the finals. I'm sorry but that's NEVER made sense to me.

Yes the heartbreak might be worse, but you'll never be able to logically explain to me how beating 3 teams, and losing to a superior team is better than not beating a single team

Lebron is a man, he doesn’t give a damn what this dude has to say about anything nor should he.

Michael Jordan was a vastly more impressive and better player than LeBron James.

James is an all time great player but the fact he won titles in three different jerseys doesn't really impress me.... he bailed and went to team that were built as super teams.... he went to Miami to join Wade and they added Bosh.... he then went to Cleveland after Irving was good, and had them add Love .... last he went to LA, where his best friend is the agent of Anthony Davis and forced a trade.

Four Titles is impressive and LeBron is an all time great.... but some of the narrative is odd.

People will always disagree about sports and politics anyway.

He goes to better opportunities and then leaves once it's clear the team can no longer win. His first season with the Lakers, they failed to make the playoffs. Then they add arguably a top 5 player and win their first season together.
