True and we have some promising young pitchers to work with next season. Hopefully Crane opens his wallet and signs both Springer and Brantley.
At least they took out the A's and Fiers. Now if the Dodgers can get knocked out I'll be content with the season. Altuve's errors cost the Astros this series.
I feel like the past few seasons it's always this way. The Nats series it felt like things went their way. The Red Sox series definitely...and now these guys. It really sucks because I feel like this team should have multiple championships...but we have one to show for it...and now even that one is tainted.
I think they did a really damn good job too. Just wasn't meant to be this year. Too many injuries and just a **** year.
And this series isn't on Dusty, but I don't understand pulling Urquidy after 75 pitches. It's not his fault Altuve couldn't throw a tennis ball into the ocean from a cruise ship.
"oh it's true lol"...how the **** do you know? Please, if you do, tell everyone, honestly. The "lol" is a nice touch, btw.
Making it to the ALCS was always gravy to me. Losing this way on routine little league plays just makes it sting, especially when the stros got 3 days of excellent starting pitching
Not a bad year for losing Verlander and Yordan. Yordan alone might make the difference in this series (and Altuve playing defense).
We need to play with wrenches at batting practice tomorrow. If you can hit a wrench you can hit a baseball. And then throw the wrench at Altuve.
