I don’t see Bzdelik coming back because Tilman is resentful of him. I hope Morey lets the coach build his own staff. Lue, JVG and Atkinson are known for strong staffs.

Just passing along, looks like Lue will be head coach of the Rockets. Impressed Tillman. Morey preferred JVG but is overruled. This is what I was told. Tomorrow's interview with JVG is just a formality now to ensure their decision.
Silas for me. He’s paid his dues and put in much time as an assistant. It’s odd there’s not more buzz surrounding him. He was a leading candidate to be hired last time before D’Antoni got the position. I like him most because he can be not just a short term solution but long term as well if things pan out. I think he deserves a shot being in the driver’s seat.

I would try Cassell, but I think we are not looking at that. So give me JVG. Maybe hire Cassell as JVG's assistant, and another top offensive assistant coach.
Is going to be between Jeff Van Gundy or Tyronn Lue. I want Van Gundy if he can get a good associate head coach who can make a good fast pace offense, but NOT involving shooting threes all the time.
