not sure how starved he was, but basically eating a large meal or something after not eating for a while can cause "refeeding syndrome". Electrolyte imbalances may through you into an arrhythmia. Again totally guessing here but valid imo
He didn't die of starvation as the article notes he had a cardiac arrest. It could be possible the shock of eating a lot of food in one sitting after fasting for four days could've done it. It's also likely he just wasn't in the best health to begin with and maybe fasting might've weakened it already. Whatever the cause feel bad for his family. Also I'm guessing he had some other issues too.
