When y’all as the last time you saw a white person killed on video while being arrested, detained or chased by vigilantes in trucks? I can think of 6 times in the last 3 months for black people.

 

The other point is for this current crisis George Floyd wasn't arrested for a violent crime. For that matter neither was Philando Castile, or Eric Ganer

 

If I understand your post correctly, you’re making the point that police should not be killing or brutalizing white Americans either, correct?

Or is it the opposite and that the whole issue is overblown? Because at the end of the day I am thankful I am white when I see police lights.

I'm an Asian who's mostly seen the better side of police. Cops do a tough job that's hard to please everyone.

The system needs fixing but obviously government cuts and shortages are part of the problem taxpayers can not shrug off.

Ive often posted that more whites are killed by police every year and the retort is always there are more whites and my retort is blacks are involved in more crime. The statistics dont surprise me

I also agree that George Floyd's death and some more recent ones are about race but overall i really don't believe there is an institutional racism issue with law enforcement.

 

When it comes to institutional racism, there is ambiguity. Unfortunately there are too many individuals who try to directly correlate institutional racism to white supremacist/kkk. These people tend to immediately disregard economic disparity in favor of bigotry.

The reality is many law enforcement and prosecutors like Harris grab at the lowest hanging fruit for their own gain.

 

I presume your evidence is some dumb anecdote about how you knew a black guy who committed a crime and didn't get killed.
