Well, ****. Nice comeback but that's 2 weeks in a row UT just made way too many mistakes to overcome.

    Or not.

Hermann must go!... No guts..His Playcalling is terrible... Ehlinger has saved him the last 2 years... Unfortunately, Ehlinger will be eating through a straw soon if he keeps this up...

Doesn't help that their top 4 safties are out. Sterns never played a snap.

That was an entertaining game considering how bad both teams played and were coached at times.

That was probably the worst OU team we’ve faced in a while and they whipped us up and down the field for 3.5 quarters.

The OL is atrocious and to me, that’s the start and end to our offensive issues. No help in the run game which just presses Sam too much to make big plays. On defense, our DBs simply do not win one on ones and that’s not going to work on the Big 12. And to boot, this team has had multiple punts blocked and now a FG blocked that loses the game 9 out of 10 times.

It is Tom Herman he has NO ATTENTION to detail at all, doesn't coach the little things, the controlling penalties and knowing down and distance, being smart. He is a tier 2 level coach, someone that should be at a middle level school, but is not good enough to coach at Texas he is constantly getting the athletes and then forgetting to teach them the small details that matter on the field.

Turns out, Mack Brown was a lot better than most of us thought.

When you look at coaching in CFB and maybe in general, it’s honestly a complete crapshoot. USC and UF are on their 3rd coach trying to replace Carroll and Urban. TFSU is already on their 2nd following Jimbo. Michigan, Nebraska, Miami, etc...are still in the hunt seemingly.

When Chris Petersen stepped down after last season, thought he someone CDC should have at the top top of his list if things go south. PJ Fleck is another guy that often comes up.

But at the end, CDC needs to go Urban or bust. There will be always be guys like Fleck, Strong, Herman, and Frost year after year. But the availability of a multi-championship coach just don’t come around that often. He has baggage and the optics couldn’t be worst. But if the season continues as it has, you make the call at the very least IMO. Pure conjecture that the BMDs will make it work.

Agreed Urban should be at the 40 acres today.

I have a lot of friends that are Longhorns and they always tell me about how their program is above reproach. In fact, I have heard arguments between them and Ohio State fans about how "dirty" Ohio State was to have a guy like Urban Meyer as coach.

Are Longhorn fans getting to the desperation point where they are willing to overlook a guy that covers for his wife beating friend to win football games? I'm all for second chances, but it certainly takes away that argument.
