I suspect that the shooter will not get convicted if charged. Does the guy deserve to die? No. But this is what happens when you have enough guns out there. A physical altercation can easily turn deadly.

That may be in regards to the photo, but given the amount of aerosol in the air, it would strongly suggest that he had been spraying before the gun was fired

you know, sometimes ppl make observations without any added intent. the timing and quality of that photo is ... umm ... wow. The bullet might already be thru the guy's head, given the caliber and distance. weird we can't see an entrance wound, yet. I didn't really want to see the photo of the guy on the ground, but stumbled across it. (btw: we know he shot after being sprayed from other video. i imagine he's a quick-draw pro.)
I honestly was just trying to show that the gun was fired after the mace was sprayed. I don't think that appropriate response was to shoot the guy for spraying mace out or slapping him. But conservatives have defended past shootings with the self-defense argument. So I am curious as to see if they will not defend this shooting when the victim is a right winger. So far, all we have is @dachuda86 deflecting.
It’s a great example of how the framing of the gun debate is always in a certain context, but when the roles get reversed you’d think there would be a eye opening on the right. 100% the security guard will get off in a trial. That’s just how the gun laws are in most of the US.
Yeah Im not so sure about that. Typically security guards need to be licensed by the state, therefore he is a state sponsored. Just as a LEO, he will be held to a different standard than some bullshit stand your ground nonsense. The thug did not deserve to be shot nor did he 'have it coming' but from this view, he certainly seemed the primary individual who could have prevented this issue. In other words, if it was a black guy laying dead on the street, half of Denver would be in flames.
