Outside of 2016 when we missed the playoffs and in 2017 when we won it all, we lost to the champions every year from 2015 thru '19 (obviously on that last one). I'm rooting for the Rays to beat the Junkees so if we lose to the Rays I can cheer hard for them to beat the crybaby Dodgers. Of course, it'd be great if we got to the WS and played the Braves instead of the Dodgers.

Yeah, that guy makes amazing hype videos. He was the one who shot and produced Lance's mini-series early in the year. Also this other fire hype video. Not a good follow on twitter though. I think he tweets too much about every little thing.

Just for some a nostalgia perspective as well. How sweet it would be to win that WS after the constant beat downs from the Braves in the late 90s and early 00’s.

Theyll get 4 good years. Then Cole becomes the most hated man in New York.

After what I’ve seen tonight, Cole on short rest for the first time in his career, it leaves no doubt in my mind Cole should’ve finished 7, 8 and then 9 last year. The guy is a horse with a dog mentality. 3 days rest, 8 Ks through 4.

9 years is insane. You have Patrick Mahomes sign a 10 year contract and that is a generational talent at the most important position of that sport.

Not sure if you know this, but he already admitted Himself he didn’t want to come In the game in the middle of an inning. He was ready to come in once the inning was over. The stros had their best reliever in the game who was nails all year long To that point and they hit an extremely tough pitch on the bottom corner

Kendricks HR of Harris was unexplainable, just a tough pitch to hit so I don’t fault Harris although they had seen him plenty. Hinch had also said as much that he wanted Cole to start an inning but I don’t believe Cole for a minute that if asked he would've declined, You live and die with your best and Harris wasn’t that guy. Oh well, my only real point being Cole could do it.

Didn’t he pitch games 1 and 5? We won 5, but if he had his stuff for the first game he pitched for us we’d be the defending champs.
