    I hope everyone realizes that Mike Fiers has been on 5 Postseason teams (Stros X2, A's X3) and has pitched in 2 games (1 start) and lasted 2.2 innings

    Javier is the best in one inning. One of the best usually in his 2nd. Sometime in his 3rd to 5th innings he transitions to average....which is fine for a regular season starter, and great for a postseason reliever.

    Forgive me if this is a stupid question, I'm a casual: What is stopping someone like Paredes from pitching in the 9th?

    Is it the mentality that makes a closer?
