Every time I hear Lee Trevino, I think of a 55 year old neighbor who shares the same last name. I assume they are the same guy.

He's also playing hurt and is great with the glove. If Yuli and Reddick are your 2 problems you don't have too many problems, position-wise. And it's not like they have great replacement options.

Yes... he is a first ballot Hall of Fame, multiple MVP's type of player when he is healthy for any period of time... the problem is staying healthy.... he is the type of guy that could hit 50+ homers and lead the league in defensive WAR if he is healthy for a few years straight.

Lol **** Maldonado. Try being less useless? I get he's not a great hitter, but 3 punchouts?

If Yuli gets a hit, he'll pass Maldo and Reddick in batting average.

Bottom of the order has been bad today, we should have scored more in this inning.

So Taylor is in for at least 2 batters in this inning?

Not everyone is gonna hit all the time lol. Machete is invaluable to the team. He is a 9 hole hitter after all

Hopefully Baker has learned the lesson Hinch learned long ago. Don't just put trash on the mound because you think it might work. Trust the numbers. If you have to pitch all starters in relief, then you do it.

Since he ended the inning he doesn't have to pitch to the three batter minimum.
