If you look at the FBI's history, they get stupid people who are members of stupid groups to do stupid things. People who are so dumb they would normally be harmless are baited into acts like this.

This might not be the case here, I believe Timothy McVeigh was affiliated with a Michigan right wing militia after all, but I wouldn't doubt it. Just take a look at some of the "Islamic terrorists" the FBI has set up.
