I liked the idea of trying to give James a shot at a 2nd inning and see if you can rely on him, but you have to be ready to pull him based on how he's pitched all year. He should've been pulled after the first hard contact -- he never should had been in position to lose the lead. Otherwise yes... especially with a hurt Greinke, play to get him more rest. What kills me is that we've gotten such great rookie production but arguably our 3 best pitching prospects in the last 3 years - Whitley, Martes, and Abreu - can't get their acts together. Any one of those guys as a viable multi-inning relief option makes this a different series.
He more than likely is. He did just hit 90 on a fastball though per the radar on TV. That is good cause he rarely does that but more concerning if he is overextending himself and then really ****s something up.
