Exactly right. Some posters on this board have been making posts and running with the idea that Biden didn't want to debate. Trump whimps out and applies the egg to their face.
90 minutes of biden answering questions would be ideal. Trump was pissing me off by interrupting so much. Let the man answer questions for goodness sake.
It would end up being a repeat of the town hall that Biden did on Monday. Considering it go no coverage because of all of the stuff about Trump leaving the hospital and COVID-19 spreading among the White House maybe a repeat might not be that bad.
Like I said in the other thread, trump won’t do another debate and probably won’t do another press conference before the election. He does not want to have to answer questions about when he last tested negative, when he first tested positive, why there was a superspreader event. He is behind in the polls but he is trapped in the worst possible facts that he created.

Biden can do a one-side debate over Zoom. And, Trump can do his one-sided debate over Twitter per usual. The fact is Trump wants an in-person debate so he can act like the as*hole he is to try to tear down Biden in a bunch of loud rhetoric and lies without letting him get a word in edgewise. Biden shouldn't do an in-person debate with him given he is running around positive with coronavirus. Maybe if he would have taken the virus more seriously, he wouldn't have put himself in this situation?
At this stage, it appears that there is one thing that could possibly swing this election back in trumps favor. And that thing is Biden having a health issue, whether covid or something else. It would feed the Republican machine narrative of the “radical left” taking over the White House, that Biden is infirm, etc. I don’t know that it would swing things, but that is the one X factor I can think of. Biden’s camp should take every precaution. Don’t go into prevent defense, but take every precaution,
Not a whole lot he can do with himself at this point. The one liners are a lot less cute when hundreds of thousands are dead, the economy went to ****, and tons chaos have taken place nationwide over racial injustices.
