Support is something like 75% in favor. With 4 weeks to an election. 1. Kill the buster 2. Reform the courts 3. Add states This is the moderate position.
She had an opportunity to understand her idiotic opponents and an obligation to the people to recognize what their max offer was going to be. She’s negotiating on our behalf. People are suffering, if she had to stroke trumps ego a little bit to grease the wheels so be it. Get a deal done stop the bleeding and get the rest done under Biden and hopefully a new senate majority. We all know the house passed the heroes act in may. We all know she’s been fighting for months to get a deal done. She misstepped by thinking the republicans/trump are capable of negotiating in good faith. Trump is an irrational numbskull, he has a limited attention span and time ran out. Btw I wouldn’t be surprised if he totally reverses course by the end of the week.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_tax_revenue_by_state @Sweet Lou 4 2 , the graph Of the 2017 from the link shows the top 4 then the rest seem a wash. That is what it looks like to me at least ..I’m not sure what cometssuck posted since there is just a graph with no empirical data or context , he’s about to be the second jack ass I put on ignore because all he does is interject personal attacks
Gross revenue is going to correlate to population size which is why I looked at net revenue (minus what they take back). https://wallethub.com/edu/states-most-least-dependent-on-the-federal-government/2700/ Here you can see that blue states are indeed less "dependent" on the Feds
Whatever trump has to do to get elected, he'll do: voter intimation, electoral college, supreme court justices, chopping the legs off of the post office, litigation to no end. Not leaving office. Did I miss something? Hear this, there is no way that trump does this without america burning to the ground. You think George Floyd was bad, if Trump seemingly wins a dirty election, especially if he gets Republican electorates to vote for him, the country is over. Period.
Really good site. Great info. One thing it also goes into further is ROI which is efficiency and effective use of taxes , and red states gets the win. https://wallethub.com/edu/state-taxpayer-roi-report/3283/#red-vs-blue
Yeah, facts are delusional in your world. I forgot. Those holier than thou red states sure do eat a lot of gubmint pork, bro. We could probably just take those bums off the tit and be in great shape.
Lol somebody didn't get his own instructions to stop negotiations The art of the dexamethasone deal, folks. Issue incoherent instructions and then spend all night negotiating with yourself...on Twitter.
He just wants to put those checks out so he can scribble his obnoxious signature on them. Like when you’re in middle school practicing your signature while daydreaming in class. It’s his proudest achievement.
Everything he does from this point forward is pandering for votes. Remember that. There's no shame in his game. He wants to be able to say that he tried to put money in the people's pockets and the Democrats wouldn't play ball.
trump is like a bad stripper: -nuts -attention w**** -keeps changing mind -wants to take your money -will give you a virus -on drugs
trump is so drugged out that he can barely function. Here’s a thought. Some here are giving Pelosi a hard time for not taking the “deal” McConnell was pushing. Supposedly he can’t get the votes from his caucus to pass Pelosi’s compromise, which is a far better stimulus than the bare bones Republican one and more like the Fed is asking for. Well guess what? There are plenty of votes to pass the compromise. All McConnell has to do is let the House bill come to the Senate floor for a vote. In my humble opinion, there are enough Republicans in the Senate that would vote for the bill if allowed to by McConnell. All the Democrats would vote for it, so it wouldn’t take many from the GOP side to pass it. McConnell won’t allow a vote. This is on him. The House bill could get passed if Republicans were free to vote. There are some GOP Senators desperate for something like that bill to get passed because they are on the verge of getting voted out of office. Food for thought.
Couldn’t those same senate republicans remove McConnell from the majority leader position if they really wanted to get it done?
I can’t wait until he starts throwing quarters at people while screaming “do nothing Democrat’s don’t want you to have this!!!”
it's deja vu all over again ! just like the tariff war and Gov't shutdown, the dotard talks a BIG game, then back-pedals
