I did forget about the Twins, but I stand by my comment of just wanting to get him out there, especially after the days we've had off. Let him get loose and into a rhythm.
I'm not saying not throwing Pressley would have been dumb...I'm just explaining why it isn't dumb to actually throw him.
Oh I understand and Im not arguing, I just wouldve saved him. All in all, he threw 6 pitches and should be able to go tomorrow if needed anyway. This has been a ****ing amazing game today.
Carlos made a great point.....he said that this would normally be June for them and that’s when most of their bats have woken up and everyone is clicking. BAD for the rest of the league!

That he did, that he did. Yeah he's right on that one. It's really ****ing good to see them hitting better. The hitting was so-so in the Twins series and I mean credit their pitching, but also we're better than 3 or 4 runs. Biggest take away would be Altuve hitting better. We know others can hit, but even if we don't get 2017 Altuve, I'm fine with just an above average Altuve.
Nice time for the best win of the 2020 campaign so far. I honestly didn't believe the bats would just come alive like that in the playoffs. But, they did. I feel good going forward.
Reddick gets a lot of criticism for his hitting (rightfully so) but his hustle to beat out that error/grounder in the 6th ended up starting the 2 out rally.
Such a breath of fresh air to see our bats finally producing. What makes this team so dangerous is that a day like today has been more of the norm than an outlier over the last several seasons, and what they did during this regular season is not in any way an indication of what they are capable of doing.
Did he almost have a double down the line earlier in the game that would have scored runs? I think he is swinging the bat pretty well.
What a win. What a performance. Our mojo has returned! Great postgame interview by Correa. And what a game by him. Our entire team played well (sans LMJ but a lot of that was LAD’s bum stadium). We’re back baby!!!
