They do. They kinda built an entire strategy around it, don’t you think? And I hate to speak in broad terms, because there are exceptions... but broadly speaking, are they really that wrong? trumpers swallow every lie, illogical statement, every conspiracy theory. Why wouldn’t this be persuasive to them. In the grand scheme of things, this is a nothing burger.

Great job President Trump. Now every doubter out there will be grateful that President Trump contracted the virus, "learned a ton about it" and now is giving the great advice to not be fearful because only under his administration have great drugs been developed for it.
I think the only way this dude leaves the hospital is if he has the same equipment he had at Walter Reed wherever he is staying next. He still has Covid, right? It doesn't just leave the body in 3 days. This is optics.
Illegal or the basis for a civil suit? Whether it is illegal or not likely depends on where it happens. In general terms yes it would likely be illegal in a lot of places and it certainly opens up civil suits. The problem is that we are talking about the President of the USA while he is still in office, no court will touch that successfully any time soon. The whole thing is a joke...... everyone is just waiting for him to lose in November and to go away..... but my question is, what if he wins? He has like a 25% chance of winning right this minute...... What will this country look like in 4 years... what rights will be left? The President will claim immunity.... I would argue he wasn't acting in his official capacity as President when he is fund raising and taking joy rides.
Both the White House and AirForce One has substantial medical capabilities. Getting him Oxygen on both is no problem. I wouldn't put it beyond Trump to go out and campaign even while still suffering some symptoms, and of course being highly contagious. The only thing that would hold him back is how much energy he has.
As a health care worker, I (almost) feel sorry for Trump. It's not pleasant watching someone going insane. As we speak, Trump's condition is a national security threat to this nation, especially due to one of the drugs Trump is taking, which reportedly can cause psychosis and mania.
It’s going to be impossible to hide and difficult to whitewash due to the internet. Perhaps certain places or people will perpetuate this nonsense but the rest of the world will know because they have been watching in disbelief. It’s seriously crazy.
I agree that probably no court would touch a case of the President negligently exposing people to COVID-19. I'm curious though is would there be a basis to a prosecution like that? If I recall there have been prosecutions of HIV positive people knowingly having sex with other people and not telling them.

What a patriotic warrior. He defeated COVID19 in 3-4 days! He was working within 24 hours! I told everyone that COVID is just a cold, at worst it is the common flu. If the President can be back working within 24 hours, then so should all the employees that have it.... everyone needs to get back to work. Also, obviously the whole quarantine part is a joke, the President was out in about within 48 hours. I see zero reason to wear a mask or to avoid living my life. Mr. Trump is nearly 75 years old and is perfectly fine. We as a country are too soft. Everyone needs to get back to normal ASAP!
