enjoyed s1. Spoiler was the worm creature mother birthed the same species as the one from the earlier episode?
It's like it flew through a hole and went to the other side of China Spoiler HBO exec comes in... You know after GoT people really really loved dragons. Ridley: uhh I'm not sure how that'll fit in the sci fi mold... HBO: We got dump trucks of CGI money Ridley: I'll make something happen in the last few minutes...
Just finished ep 10. Still have no ****ing clue. I need to watch/read bigger dork brains than mine break this all down.
Looking back at all ten episodes, there’s a lot I didn’t like especially the last episode. Don’t really care about anyone so doubt I’d keep going.
I like the show after 5 episodes. I’m not really liking the characters that are married (the guy with the scarred face) not sure why.
This is the type of metaphysical/spiritual/old religious history breakdown I’ve been looking for. Clutchfans grabs the first post from this reddit thread and it has some spoilers so I’m going to spoiler tag it. Great read if you’re trying to understand the deeper meanings of the show or just some good theorycrafting. Spoiler
Spoiler: Symobolism in season one and the finale Lot of biblical symbolism in the show. * The planet is like a Devil's version of earth. Desolate, hard to live off the land. Instead of humans evolving, they are devolving. * Mother/Father are kind of like Eve and Adam. Instead of the first humans, they are the first Androids on this planet. * Mother/Father's camp had a garden but was later tainted by radiation (Garden of Eden - apple) * Instead of Mother giving birth to an android/human child, it was a snake. (another Eden reference) * The sol worshippers comes on an Ark. * Is the tropical zone the 'Promise Land' It's just one interpretation, the symbolisms are general enough that fans can project their own theories.
This is pretty much what I got from it and summed up. Ridley should really just stop everything else and just finish Taboo.
