Weren't there stats about them running off LT and a) that they didn't do it much at all (because BoB reasons?) and b) that it didn't work much when they did?
I never bad mouth posters but this meme is just stupid. I dont like Billy o and want him fired too but comeon, texans know plenty about winning football. Now if this was about winning superbowls then sure but winning in general? Get outta here
The Texans have ZERO playoff wins past the Wild Card round.... 0/4 in the divisional round.... never been to the conference championship and never been to the Super Bowl. 20 years in the league and never even won a divisional round game....
BoB is 54-51 as the Texans head coach, so yeah, "winning in general" is not really how to defend the franchise.
The Oilers were the first Champions of the AFL in consecutive years (1960-61), but after that we've been dry.
Multiple years with playoff birth and wins in playoffs is also not losers. Also having more wins than loses also by definition means your are winners. Again not enough and Bill should go but you cant classify a 54-51 record as losers
I get all that and I agree with it. But they do have those things under their belt. Yes that is not enough but in terms of winning that is also not nothing.
In the last seven years, the Colts, Jags, and Titans have gotten to the championship game. That's just in the O'Brien era. At some points the excuses, whatever they are, just don't cut it anymore
The best LT may never be PAID as the best. It is all about timing with Sports contracts. Kurt Cousins was the highest paid player in the NFL for a season or 2.
Colts were strong favorites to win the division last year and probably for the next few years. Andrew Luck announcing his retirement in the middle of a preseason game was a complete surprise and saved BOB's career for 2019.
Honestly If they had made the championship game then we would all complain that they havnt even made the superbowl. Case in point rockets. And if the texans did the same thing the jags have done since the texans have been in the league we would be so much more miserable. And I would say jags are a more lower franchise than the texans. Regular season matters, constant winning records matter. But agree to disagree.
