Honestly, if I were Biden (and obviously I am not), I'd pull most of my TV money and put it into a ground game with face shields. Biggest mistake he's made so far is not going door to door handing out voter registration forms

But seriously, we both know that it would hurt Biden if he ever came across as crass or uncaring. His taking the high road is a big point of distinction. Those negative attack ads aren't going to move the needle much anyway.

The fact that Trump is not tweeting at all is a very bad sign. I mean, some critical covid patients did live streaming the entire time.

Also, wtf is wrong with this goddamed country that we're even talking about this.

I want him to live through at least November though. He deserves that, but preferably beyond so that we have a full accounting of this national stain.

Like I said it was always a good move for Trump to resign in exchange for a blanket pardon the day before he leaves office. Maybe time to get out that pen.

 

I'm so conflicted in how I feel. On the one hand, I lost someone I cared for to Covid. I also don't wish ill in most. And I've also said very bad things about Trump.


But then I think about all the times he's made fun of the handicap, the soldiers, Hillary for being sick, assaulted women, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc and I guess I just think "it is what it is."

I guess I'm mostly apathetic, I just am curious as to what happens. In an ideal world, he'd beat this, but realize he can't do this political thing any more, and this covid thing would humanize him for the rest of his years and he'd begin an apology tour for the rest of his life.
