I can't find the original @Space Ghost post, but from what I've seen quoted, I want to agree on something. If you work closely indoors with someone, like a presidential aid or a close campaign staffer, in the White House, on planes, in cars, etc... masks are not the end-all protection unless they're serious N-95 or greater. That's the best of my understanding. Aerosol transmission is looking more and more like a significant player, and aerosols can go through most simple masks. That's like TB. In that case, you just need to make damn sure your people stay in one bubble with you (like the NBA did). I'm just saying masks are really good but they don't stop aerosols and if you spend all day indoors with someone, masks and six feet of separation probably won't protect you unless the room is really well ventilated. I see people feel invulnerable with masks indoors and it's pretty scary. My point is I blame Trump for a lot of things, (including modeling risky behavior), but not for hoping he could have a "pod" of coworkers and just trust that they could stay well with lots of testing and caution outside the workplace (which he arguably did not use on the campaign trail).
He's ready to take over. That's a win win move for him. Great politically. Even better from a human perspective.
This was my concern with schools that Trump demanded opening. Some of the schools have horrible ventilation, and old wall unit air conditioners and heating.
I love how they landed it so you couldn’t see Trump being wheeled out with an oxygen mask. It’s always about the image to these goons.
Lame means no power just like kushner having no power if fired by pence. Whatever contacts he holds are all temporary once his position is taken from him. Power is key to be able to f*ck up things. Second key is information. And that information is likely easier transferred if Trump leaves and Pence stays. Maybe he even preemptively pardons Trump
No offense, but what other way would you land that helicopter on that lawn? lol. Looks like they landed it in front of the exit. I mean, I get what each side is trying to say, but let's await more facts.
It will be interesting to see what kind of Trump emerges from this bout of illness. Will we get a new Trump that is more humble and toned down from the craziness we got before? Imo, that would be his best play for getting re-elected and getting the undecided and sympathy votes. I’m not sure it would be genuine. The president doesn’t always have to be an *******...which is something I don’t think he understands. The president should be able to stand tall based on his own merits and accomplishments...not the rantings and ravings of one who comes across as mentally unstable.
Apparently he's stopping all negative campaign ads, but other ads, I'm assuming, will continue. Good response from Biden.
I have a hard time believing he will tone down. He's had many opportunities and has never taken any them.
We’ve seen for decades that helicopter land with a photo op of the President coming out of it or walking to it. It’s not an each side situation.
