That’s up to you to decide, I don’t care what you understand or don’t.

    Yes they can definitely be.

Do you know how that 1000% wealth gap occured? I like to hear you explain it in your own words.

You can have this discussion if you want. I have no interest in socialist policies, free market growth is for everyone.
You keep bringing up new topics, open a thread and discuss them if you want. I’m not going to jump just because you say lol.

Again, that only is your interpretation. You’re free to interpret my response to you however you want.
I didn’t say you were wrong, I said if that’s what you got from her policy then it’s obvious where you’re voting.

    Some reading for you.
It kinda undermines your premise of federal funding helping out states and local municipalities.
I like the idea of privatization, I don’t think it’s actually pragmatic approach. But I wouldn’t throw any suggestion out the window.
Education as a whole has declined under government oversight. The answer is more government?

My premise was the federal department.of education is too small and only provides around 8% of the typical public school's funding. You didn't even read my argument. I suggest going back to and reading the articles I posted in the second page.

The answer is to detach the majority of local school funding based on local property taxes that result in a 23 billion dollar funding gap between white majority schools and PoC majority schools accounting for population differences.

You didn't read much of my original post that had 2 articles and explained my position well enough apparently.

The problem with public k-13 education in the US isn't that it sucks in general. The problem with public education in this country is that it varies too much dependant on how wealthy your neighborhood is.

The quality of education varies too much based on school district and neighborhood wealth. That's a huge problem that accelerates wealth gaps.

I will read it, started to and had to check on my kid.
Ideologically speaking, I am not in favor of more government. So we will disagree on some key points.
But I’m not like some libertarians that want no regulation.

It's a little higher than that. It's more like a 9% death rate.
    https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-020-02483-2
"For every 1,000 people in their mid-seventies or older who are infected, around 116 will die. These are the stark statistics obtained by some of the first detailed studies into the mortality risk for COVID-19."

NOw yes that is a 91% survival rate but is a one in ten gamble with someone's life really worth it? That is again ignoring the other well documented potential long term effects. It does sound like you are downplaying the risk of this to someone like Trump.

The skittles bag analogy works well. Would you pick a random skittle from a bag of 100 skittles were 9 of them well definitely kill you?

I understand that odds are still in favor that Trump recovers. That said we are talking about the President of the United States and not any other elderly person.

Leaving aside my own admitted anti-Trump bias as I would vote against him even if he was perfectly healthy and had under 10% body fat. Even if I agreed with Trump on most things this is a big risk to have the President incapacitated at a very sensitive time. I made that same point in the other thread about why I don't wish him any harm because more uncertainty is the last thing this country needs.
