giving up a much younger player who’s better and cheaper for somebody like EG makes no sense for them if we’re being honest

Do we really believe that if Turner is on the market, the best they’ll be able to do is 31 yo EG??

Silas is who I think we will take. Seems like Sam's name is at the bottom of every column, more like throw into the article. And for Vangundy, he is not going to take Landry's coupons vs a full high salary. As long as we don't get Ty Lue I'll be happy.

I think you are underrating Eric and overrating Myles. He is their fifth most valuable player and Eric is any where from third to fifth, depending on who you ask, so you have to ask who has the better top five.

    1. Sabonis 2. Oladipo 3. Brogdon 4. Warren 5. Turner
    1. James 2. Russ (3. RoCo 4. PJ 5. Eric) those three could be in any order and I'd buy the argument.

Only realistic offer I could see trumping Eric is if GSW is willing to part with the second overall pick while dumping Wiggins contract. Indiana would have to get up more assets to make the money work. The market for a big man isn't as vast as you are making it out to be. Eric is more valuable to more teams than a big man. We are the only team in the league with zero.

I think you're right. We interviewed him before after firing Bickerstaff, but the owner demanded we go with MDA. Morey bringing Silas back again this time tells me there's a lot of mutual interest there.

MDA could still possibly go to New Orleans.

I think we all know Tilman is going to go for the budget option.

That Moreyball BS sure worked a hell of a lot better than whatever he has been running for the last decade...

Let's hope he doesn't go TOO low budget.

You gotta figure Lue has the inside track on the Clipper job right?

Rockets can't be higher than three on his list.

Clippers and Pelicans are the two best jobs on the market.

That's probably the best place for him at this point. MDA's style produces a lot of point and regular season entertainment. The Pelican fan base has no real title aspirations so they would probably be ok with MDA's coaching style. All offense baby! Let's see Zion fly!

Eric was 6th at best here...Harden, Russ, PJ, Cov, and House were all better this season

EG was 1 of the worst players in the league during the regular season, and he was mostly garbage in the playoffs, especially before game 7 against OKC

I haven’t claimed the market for Turner was vast, just that the market for EG barely exists...there’s no debating he’s negative value

31 yo EG who missed 36 games, was horrible, and is highly paid for the next couple of seasons is not valuable

The Pelican job is exciting but if you want to make a playoff run as a coach that team isn't it. Honestly, I think that's the right place for MDA. He could make Ingram, Zion and Ball look wonderful..........in the regular season.

Or a arrogant overrated GM. Any reasonable coach wants to come in running HIS own system, not some gimmick Moreyball crap

The Clippers would fit him too but he's not getting hired there.

Only job left that makes sense for him is Indiana. They could be a championship type team next year if they make the right trades and get healthy. They are set to surprise a lot of people especially with Warren breaking out. I think they are severely underrated. I don't think MDA takes a job that doesn't provide a slight chance to win it all. That's all that is left for him to do, it's too bad he didn't get his shot with Philly.

doesn’t mean he wants to run it

Doc Rivers does not value the 3

Clippers 16th in attempts while being 6th in percentage this year

Clippers 28th in attempts while being 2nd in percentage last year

he would never be on board with 1st in attempts, and below average in percentage like is customary for the Rockets

we don’t even have a big man at the moment

    we all know about Tilman

Doc gave this job a millisecond of thought because of James Harden, and then moved on
