Seems like everywhere LeBron goes he builds a perfect roster around himself and regardless of ownership if they are cheap (like Dan Gilbert) or willing to spend (Buss and Arison) he gets a championship squad around himself. Morey has had 2 instances were he ended up having a roster that was championship quality (2015 and 2018) but other than that every one of his moves whether it be through trade or FA has come up short other than CP3.

    Oh sorry you misunderstand.

I'm talking about the contracts he got his buddies. The contracts that remained well after he left.

We all know how amazing LeBron is at getting a big name to be his side kick.

Kind of laughable though the role-player contracts LeBeijingGM dishes out.

EDIT: I also find it peculiar you seem to think GMs are on a level playing field with the chosen one?

This is a really strange take. You know which player all those rosters that LeBron "builds" have in common? LeBron. Freakin'. James.

If any GM, much less a Morey, had a LeBron on their roster, I'm sure every team in the league would have a championship-caliber roster.

As a Morey stan, Lebron is the best GM in the League. Since Lebron and his companies are subsidized by the NBA and Adam Silver, Whatever Lebron want he gets, collusion be damned. Morey doesn't have his very own talent agency that can go out and convince talent to do wherever he wants them to do like Lebron.

I'm not a fan of Lebron, but I'm a fan of how he gamed the system and bent the league to his will. It's masterful. what can you do?

Lebron also demands a lot from the roster. He isnt about the bullshit despite the number of knuckle-heads on the roster. So you have to give him credit for that too.

Morey has Harden. Harden is as good if not better than James. So what is morey's excuse?

He knew he was out of there by the time his contract ran out, so he didnt care. His eyes were on greener pastures. He bled that franchise dry and deuced out.

LeBron also has the refs in his pockets so that certainly helps!

This. Lebron is the better player than Morey. On top of that many capable players want to piggy back on James to a Ring. On top of that Morey could never do what Lebron did to get Davis as he does not have the influence Lebron has.

First Dan Gilbert in Cleveland wasn’t cheap and neither were the Heat or Lakers. Second LeBron went to Cleveland when they already had Kyrie and a top draft pick to move for Love. In Miami he went to a team that already had a champion and top 5 player in his prime in Dwayne Wade. With the Lakers his best friend was the agent for Anthony Davis and Davis and his agent forced his trade to LA. When other teams tried to get Davis, his agent (LeBron’s best friend) said he wouldn’t play for them.

LeBron is one of the 2-5 best players to ever play and right now is only behind Harden and Giannis and possibly his own teammate, even at an older age.

LeBron and Morey are in completely different situations. They are not remotely comparable.

Well Daryl wasn't allowed to tank another franchise and then come back years later like as their savior after "coincidentally" winning three draft lotteries.

Superstars don’t like Morey because he considers them as assets, and they don’t believe his **** theory can win championship.

As to Lebron James, on the contrary, superstars love to play with him. NBA players knows each other. They likes to play with Lebron because they know Lebron is a great leader and they trust him.

Best believe Lebron has a handler. To the powers that be, he is just another pawn to get us all bought into the system both lovers and haters. As long as we’re watching we feeding it.
