Sure. Again, Im not saying to run Watson like they run Allen or Cam. Josh Allen is a big dude! Deshaun Watson is not a "small dude" he is a big boy and has shown his toughness already hasnt he? Take the Ferrari out of the garage it needs to be redlined every once in a while.
Yeah I was more talking about the difference in size. Noticeable difference between Kyler-Deshaun and Deshaun-Allen
WTF is up with that??? YOu just made Laremy Tunsil the highest paid LT in the history of the sport, but you dont run to his side??? Thats crazy. Tendency is a real thing in football, for a scripted, gameplan offense like OBrien this is a death knell .. does anyone still wonder why defenses seem to know what this team is about to do?? keeps getting worse!
This has probably been posted already but just in case, https://www-thebiglead-com.cdn.ampp.../houston-texas-bill-obrien-fired-01ek8jh3hss2
shifty, dodgy .. 4.3 vs 4.6 is still speed .. i'll continue to wear my Battle Red blinders and say that Deshaun has great "football speed" LOL
Not saying Watson isn’t athletic, but 5-7 defenders are as fast as him at any given time, 4.3? Different story
Maybe - Ive seen alot of track guys who didnt seem as fast on a field. Instinct + vision sometimes will make you seem faster than you are I guess? ALL IM SAYING GUYS is that if you can put Deshaun Watson in the right space he SHOULD be able to get some positive yards with his feet! Do I need to post that Cincy run?? (only one I can think of LOL) How about his .. Deshaun Watson is the "shiftiest" guy in the pocket? There's something to be said for being slippery when all hell is breaking loose, if he didnt have that instinct imagine what the sack totals would be. For all their speed if you can get to Jackson, Mahomes and Murray you have a good chance to take them down - in space maybe not, but Deshaun always impresses me with that 3rd eye he has to buy more time in shedding tacklers. Cant teach that. If only he could find open receivers. Sigh.
Watson is noticeable slower when scrambling .. think that last knee surgery really took his burst / speed
Exactly after the game - Steelers defenders said Texans don’t miss Hopkins because they run same route tree (aka the offense didn’t change) predictable
I mean a home loss to the 0-3 Vikings who likely won’t have any in person practices leading up to the game should do it right?
i can't believe he's been here since 2014. sad times. sure would be nice to have some 2021 draft picks right about now.
One day years from now, when BOB is the OC for some Division II school and Jack Easterby is selling insurance somewhere, ESPN or SI or someone is going to publish a long form article about how these guys used religion to connect with the McNair family and character as a cover for their incompetence. I think a lot of people will be shocked by what these scamvangelists have gotten away with.
If we had fired BOB when this thread was started we could have fired his replacement and started on another rebuild by now. So much time (and talent) wasted.
If we fired BOB, would any other team hire him to be their HC? Would any other team even hire him to be their OC? Would any other team hire him to be their GM? I think the answer to all is no and that really tells you all you need to know about if he's a good coach/GM or not. At least Kubiak had good offenses here and was easy to hire as an OC before he got his next HC gig.
