Prime Ron Artest has biggest chances. Hakeem is too tall, prime LeBron (probably the only player I can honestly write that) would blow past him. There's chance Ron Artest will **** with his head because athletically still he stands no chance with Bron
When y'all pick these defenders, keep in mind that LeBrawn weighs about 250-260 (conservatively speaking). Robert Horry coming into the league was probably 220. Karl Malone was 250-260 maybe. Pippen was probably 220. Battier was probably 215-220? Hakeem coming into the league was around 235 and probably left around what? 250? A peak Ron Artest trying to guard him would have been interesting, though. But then Lebron now isn't as fluid as he was when he was young -- he's more of a brute now than he was then.
Moses malone is one of the guys I'd love to see on lebron. That guy was a bruiser. Lebrons groin would hurt after 10 mins.
Are we talking about players if they were in their primes? If that's the case, Dwight Howard would be the best defender on 'Bron. I think prime Howard could move with LeBron and is probably the strongest Rocket.
Chuck Wagon. Outside of Hakeem, Chuck was the best defender to ever play here. He literally shut YOU DOWN regardless of who you were
Luc was the best defender I've seen in a Rocket uniform. Perfect size and speed for any position. Better than Shane and Artest.
I guess a good place to start would be the best defender in Rockets history, Hakeem. But as far as wing defenders, I'd go Artest.
