lol I might be wrong but it appears to me you are very religious your'e just not aware of it... Perhaps you belong to The Holy Trinity Cult of The Holy Corona, The Big Pharma and The Big State?
Regardless of whether or not it's true, Rockets got f'ing BONED, and I'm honestly not sure which would be worse, but I tend to think it would be a far uglier scenario if it is NOT true. If that's the case, then we got screwed by a lie/misunderstanding? On the other hand, it would still suck, but be easier to swallow, if it turns out that House really just couldn't keep it in his pants.
I hate the government and big pharma as much as anyone, but you needa take off your tinfoil hat if you're suggesting the government is fabricating the pandemic. The government is suffering as much as most organizations because of this, and it has not been a good look for them. Also, it's not just a matter of what's real science, and what's a conspiracy theory. The fact is that there were rules and an agreement in place for making the bubble games happen. They were in place for a reason, and no matter how valid you think those reasons are, the players agreed, and the rules weren't that difficult to follow. House showed lack of character and lack of loyalty to his teammates when he violated those rules because he wanted to get his dick wet.
If he’s on the Rockets I’ll cheer him on and support him. However, I can’t remember the last time I was so disappointed in a player. If you play poorly on the court, whatever. It’s frustrating but at least you’re trying. To get your ass suspended because you wanted to wet the pipe in the bubble (when by that time families were allowed in, mind you) is an incredibly stupid and immature thing to do. If we were to find a good trade, I’m not against moving House. I was a fan of both his game and story but I’m pretty meh as to what happens to him now.
Not only is it not a lock, it's absurd. Fauci has said that even with the vast majority of Americans were to drastically change their willingness to wear masks (oh, the sacrifice!), coronavirus was likely to last well into 2021 and that if the vast majority of Americans declined to wear masks (liberty! freedom!) it would last throughout 2021. And Americans are not going to start wearing masks, en masse, anytime soon. Too many of them still believe the virus is a hoax. In other words, those "aspirations" are more fantasy than aspiration. If you think the NBA is going to be playing for crowds in early or even mid-2021, I've got a bridge to sell you. If you want to see the NBA playing for crowds anytime in 2021 or even 2022, VOTE.
He has shown very bad behavior, nobody wants him. If he shows discipline and works hard, his trade value may go up, but I have my doubts if he will change.
If you can't get good value for him then keep him. He's a good player but if the league wants to F us in a trade then F them.
Can't afford to keep trading away young players. Rockets already are limited with young talent that can make the rotation, and have traded away most of their draft capital. The many older players on the roster are already showing cracks of declining. It is hard to find them on cheap contracts, and will probably get even harder if the cap gets walloped due to NBA losses due to lack of fans in stands. You need a mix of young and old to make through a full 82 game grind and playoffs. The next coach has to be very good at player development. Adelman might have been the only Rockets coach good at that in the past 15-20 years.
He is absolutely a keeper. Do you know the local nightclubs and strip clubs had been hit so hard during the pandemic? We need more NBA players like him in this town to support our local business.
Keep. We're not going to get equal value in return. Unless he's in a package with Gordon for a big upgrade.
LOL The post was directed at the poster not the girl in gif. You are too literal, subtlety eludes you.
House was MDA favorite. Interesting since D'Antoni regularly ripped for not developing young players. D'Antoni also developed Capela. And was really high on Melton. House is just an asset for Morey, same for any other player not named James Harden. And for time being, Russ Westbrook. https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2020/09/rockets-notes-house-westbrook-paul-gordon.html
What is there to discuss? A younger talent on a great contract who's goof up would probably make him feel more indebted to the organization more than ever. We wasn't going to win that series and now we can turn a player from just a dude to a dude who feels like he owes us. Seems like a good deal to me.
