When is a team from a small market ever gonna win the nba title in the modern era. It just feels like the nba might as well contract some of these teams because even if they get to the playoffs the league won’t let them win
It's like 9 or 10 Million . . . . .. He will need to be upgraded to about 18~20 million easy Tobias Harris Money? I dunno about that but definitely Ryan Anderson money Rocket River
That is the biggest issue Even if they "do everything right" . . . they get into the playoffs and everything goes their way They absolutely have to be perfect and then some This series could easily be 2-2 but 2 games IMO they had no real shot in. Rocket River
this is why the nba just doesn’t feel like a legitimate league to me compared to the other 3 pro sports in America. Once in a while you’ll see the Kansas City royals in baseball or the Carolina panthers in the nfl make the championship. In the nba they are so afraid of bad ratings from small market teams they constantly rig games to make the league look healthier than it really is. If you ask me Steve ballmer overbuying the clippers for 2 billion overinflated a lot of these teams value
NFL and MLB have been big for much longer than the NBA The NFL is d*mn near invunerable. The Rating for the NBA did not spike until the late 80s I don't think they have accepted that they are very stable and not that vunerable themselves Rocket River
I never really hated LeBron when he was at Cleveland or Miami. Dominating in the play-offs in that purple jersey though... yep, sign me up for the King James Haters Club.
Denver really, really needed 3s there but they still took two layups when they presented themselves. Didn't work out for them, but I still wish the Rockets would stop passing up layups in favour of threes at all costs
LeBron showed why he's LeBron. Does Denver need anything drastic to put them over the hump? Murray / Jokic / MPJ / Grant + others are all so good and talented, and will be right back in the mix for next year. I guess they need an Eric Gordon / Lou Williams type. Someone that's instant offense and a 6th man off the bench.
