What are some good Mexican restaurants in the Cypress area? I've been to a few good ones. Julia's, Alicia's, Gringo's, Ambriza. Any others that jump out?
Rofl. Nothing quite like it. Seems like it's a good place. I'll go outta the way to visit it sometime then. I'm down for just about any kind of food.
you can’t miss that hood, my son is Peruvian and I’m white AF, but you gonna get authentic there.....
Also, Deli’s cafe off mason in Katy will straight up make you anything Venezuelan you want. All home made. Place is unreal.
Bro thanks for liking this, they don’t get the run other places do, but it’s straight up a hidden gym In the city. I probably know some of y’all clowns from this.
Ambriza'a my favorite so I'm not too helpful. Chuy's on 290 is good if counting Tex-Mex and Texas chain acceptable. Chuy's on 249....service sucks. La Hacienda is okay for a change.
dude I’m only good for the west side, but for real we need to make the food recommendations a thing. Like a get together deal...
and to be fair I have some connections. My moms runs the city with exotic meat products. And you heard that here first.
I've tried some Peruvian places in the past for their rotisserie/roasted chicken. That's some good chicken.
I like Colombian a little better, but check out the “Lomo Saltado” family meal at Las Brasas Charcoal Chicken off Eldridge. It’s straight up Peruvian and the best sauce you can get. Best deal in the city. Not even. Close. it’s ridiculous. Make sure to get the meat in a different pan than the rice and sides. thank me later. Houston is ridiculous homies.
My wife is from Peru, it’s awesome , they do something to the chicken that makes it so good apparently, who knows
