Capital gains taxes in the 50s were still only 25% so that chart is misleading. Sure, you will tax the hell out of that athlete making 30 million a year going back to that system, but the really wealthy aren't making it in salary.
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/americ...s-pay-a-lower-tax-rate-than-the-middle-class/ The graph accounts for all taxes at all levels including capital gains, estate, property so on and so forth at the local, state and federal level.
Republicans smoke screen their healthcare benefits. No way Trump and the GOP plan on doing more than Biden to make healthcare affordable to all. They don't give a damn about those who can't afford healthcare. They can't even acknowledge 200,000 plus dead Americans without saying it's only the old people, like they don't matter. It's disgusting.
They keep on stating that "we will keep pre-existing condition protections" but how? The free market insurance business model is ademently against pre-existing condition coverage. It hurts their business model. Only significant government intervention can help go against the market like that.
I'm not disagreeing wih you about Biden likely to do more. However, Obamacare premiums actually went down the last 2 years for a couple of my friends. One of my friends had to stop working for a while because of some problems. So he's only making investment money which was like 15k for the year. His premium for a silver plan was 23 bucks a month after the subsidy. That's with a zero deductible and around 1000 max out of pocket.
I'm talking about Biden's plan for more affordable healthcare for all, which I believe will be better than anything Trump proposes. From what I've been reading many will lose healthcare completely under Trump's proposed plans. All I know is I trust Biden more than Trump in getting healthcare availability to all Americans, rich or poor.
At first I had a somewhat positive impression of this guy , but now that he’s out there more ... there’s more that I disagree with also , I’ll never trust anyone without depth perception
I don't know. The metaphorical power of having a POTUS who literally has no depth perception, leading the country at the forefront of climate denialism... hard to beat.
Yes. Doctors saved his eye, not the gubmint bureaucrats that gave him free health care. He wants you to have the same personalized care without the gubmint bureaucrats giving it to you for free. This guy...
Ouch. I had to rock one for 3 days last weekend because I scratched the hell out of my eyeball. I can now see normally again, thanks for asking.
Chronicle endorses Crenshaw because he has "star power" and can reshape the Republican Party. Strange endorsement. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/op...er&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=referral
