I’ve been saying this about the doofus for awhile. While I don’t usually criticize other vets because we are a brotherhood, to me he seemed to enjoy letting people know his military service is better than anyone else, just because he was a wounded combat vet. I’ve served 6 years of my life and they were the most humbling years, I grew up and became a man. Later, when God blesses me with the skills and dedication to help the wounded vets to regain their independence and live again, I’ve dedicated my life to him ever since. I remember like it was yesterday when I came home on leave from Europe, my dad showed me one of the Gipper’s famous quotes “ evil is powerless when the good are unafraid”. My purpose for serving America has never been more clear.

He's referring to you. And you literally use your service as a way to tell others you are superior. The vast majority of the times I bring it up is to give an insight to right wing culture in direct combat occupations. And when someone like yourself brags about their service as a high horse crutch, that is when I come in and call you a pog/fobbit.

The clowns in here keep doubting my military service just because they have so much hatred for Trump and for anyone who supports him. Did they ever question your service to our country? Didn’t think so. I take my oath seriously and these America hating clowns will never relate to it.
You’ve mentioned it a thousand times in the hangout, and you even have a thread dedicated to music, which I think it’s all good. This board is much more than just the D&D you know.
I wouldn't have minded serving if it were during peace time or with little chance of combat. Oddly enough, came real close after 9/11. I respect everyone who serves and those willing to share their stories. There are plenty. Calling yourself a general opens up a can of worms, but who are we to judge...until we do.
It is hard for anyone to believe you are military. Folks who served are not arrogant aholes who brag about themselves non stop. You are a caricature.
Yes I had multiple people doubt my service and I only bring it up to share my experience with right wing extremism. Those people who doubted me have very similar alignment in politics and social commentary as you do also. You use your service as a dividing line of "loving America" vs "hating America". Also I'm pretty sure your service connected injury wasn't combat related. Do you have a PH? And yes I did ignore you and you still are on my list but I was reading this thread without no context because it was mostly you replying so I figured what all the hoopla is about.
I am humble enough to know that I’m not better than anyone else, but wise enough to know that I am different. You sound envious.
You saw the ongoing clowning from the loonies on your side about my service, name me a few on my side? I can hardly find anyone on my side that does that. First of all, our numbers are tiny compared to yours, second, we have moral and decency and especially when it comes to serving our country and last but not least, we do not have the dreaded affliction known as TDS.
