Well I see I've got a new home in someone's head. As it happened I said that Trump and his supporters might try something like this in another thread but this is a very very unlikely possibility as in the post that RayRay referred to and that just this summer the USSC in Chiafalo v. Washington made it harder to actually have electors vote against the popular vote of those states. That was a 7-2 majority with both Kavanaugh and Alito voting with the majority noting the problems and chaos that could be cause by having electors that didn't go with the popular vote of the state. I'm pretty sure Trump will try something like this if he loses as he will likely throw the kitchen sink to try to win. As far as something to really worry about there doesn't seem much ground that this could stand on. Also yes Democrats should've won more elections.
If something like this were to work I think this will be a likely case. I think it's very unlikely it will though.
If Trump does this, the riots will be unbelievable. Billions of dollars in damage. The majority of the country would riot.
The democrats should be concerned. The Trumpers and people that are of that political spectrum know that this is their best chance to completely reform the US government..... they are about to have a stranglehold on the court system, and 4 more years of Trump in the White House and they will have set up a very strong defense to liberalism. Trump doesn't need to win the popular vote, only the electoral college and in the swing states, many of them lean conservative......

That case was about faithless/rogue electors. That would be inapplicable to a slate of Trump electors directed to vote for Trump by the state legislature competing with a democratic slate of electors - or at least, it wouldn't be hard to find 4-5 justices to agree with this.
Once local officials are declared terrorists and the national guard takes control of the cities, it will be very easy for President Trump to turn on the hoses and gas terrorist thugs that try to take to the street to undermine our great country. You know, just to be extra careful....... maybe you should stay home on November 4, 2020..... it would be terrible if something happened. The President will make sure we open back up as this COVID19 event is vastly overblown. You have likely heard or read from the biased media that America wants a change away from President Trump, that is WRONG. America wants jobs, America wants Christian values and closed borders. The President will have nominated three patriotic Justices by November 4 to control the Supreme Court. Everything is okay....... just stay home on 11/4/20 and spend time with your family in your safe home, safe neighborhood.
