Yeah, the top of the key big man offense is very Adelman-esque. You need a skilled passing big man to operate though.
Lakers have a problem. Let Denver win, make it a 2-2 series... OR Win the game and go up 3-1 and let Denver activate their trap card.
I agree with what Kenny is saying. I will push back and say that Harden is a hard worker and players do see that in practice and his workouts. When they see Harden working, they want to work too. It's his intensity levels in games that's always off. When I'm looking at Harden and see his chill-im going-to-the-beach mode, the team turns into just that and try to turn it up too late.
I think it is their whole team. I heard on the radio that the Nuggets highest draft pick was Murray at 7. All of their players have been underdogs and had to fight for everything they got. Their resiliency individually and as a team Is remarkable.
Harden has a tendency to go into his shell after he gets victimised by Foster & Co. Saw it a couple of times in the Lakers series, but in Game 4 when he got that real suspect offensive foul early in the second quarter it was really obvious that he'd dropped his bundle. He had this look on his face that screamed 'why bother, this **** is rigged', his energy levels dropped and his teammates' did too.
I think Harden has progressed, but in the playoffs, I want to see this Hakeem Olajuwon I'm going to destroy everyone attitude regardless of a double or triple team or bad refs
If it was the Clippers, they would have folded after that 4th quarter collapse. The Nuggets was shaken a bit but did a couple of stops and big shots at the end to hold the win.
He needed that game 5 energy every game. He can kill any defense. Like MDA said, he needs to be more selfish sometimes. Of course, the public thinks Harden is too selfish which is weird. His nonchalant attitude really works against him. If he was smiling all the time and skipping around like Steph curry he’d probably have a better reputation
I've watched every season of Power Rangers and at least 15 seasons of super sentai I'm weeb adjacent at the very least.
I'm convinced had the referees not interfered, Nuggets would have a serious chance to take this series. I still don't see the Nuggets overcoming the referees.
