You also described the partisan impeachment (the insurance policy).

Again, the GOP chose to not vote not based on the content of the bill but rather a "no holds bar" approach to handling Obama which was not to give an inch hence why a core philosophy of the GOP with the mandate was deemed unconstitutional by them magically as soon as Obama and his administration wanted it.

I thought you would understand this as most Democrats are mimicking the same approach with Trump.

The partisan impeachment that had the first US Senator in American history vote to convict a president in their own party.

I'm curious about something. If you don't think Obamacare qualifies as an example of legislation being forced upon the opposing political party, can you give an example of something that does qualify?

There’s a PBS Frontline documentary about Obama’s effort and the Republican imposed gridlock that resulted from it.

The GOP will likely go ahead and succeed with the SCOTUS confirmation, but it will fully and openly politicize the judiciary, particularly if the dems win both the white house and control of the senate.

This will be the beginning of the end of the US democracy (or whatever is currently left of it) with Putin and Xi eating popcorn and enjoying the show.

I just saw Ted Cruz on the news and his defense of why he's switching position pretty much is, everyone is a hypocrite and so am I.

    This makes no sense.

Just because you don't vote for something does not mean it was rammed down their throat.

With this logic half of legislation now days is rammed down someones throat.

I hate all of this hyperbole.

You want to mention what else he is describing?

How many things have been passed with Democrats not voting for it?

Oh yeah Republicans did vote for impeachment, I continue to be amazed at how you continue to say and post things that are not correct.

Also claiming that we can go back on our word regarding the confirming a USSC nominee because of the ACA vote seems disjointed and petty.

How is it hyperbole? ACA received zero votes from the opposition. If that doesn't qualify as legislation being rammed down the opposition's throat, then what does?

Its hyperbole because most of legislation these days are receiving zero votes by the opposition.

Just because you don't vote for something does not mean its rammed down your throat, dems did not take this vote at the point of a gun and the ACA was a republican idea in the 1st place.

Yes. And those pieces of legislation are being rammed down the opponents' throats. There's no hyperbole.

And while ACA shared big similarities with a republican plan from the 90's, a majority of republicans were opposed to that plan in the first place.

Scotus appointments are baked deeply into Con and Repub DNA.

Let them get their 6-3 rulings, then say...we tried it, it sucks. Time to play ball.

How many House Republicans voted for impeachment?

Romney, was the sole republican in the Senate. I'd say that's pretty partisan. I continue to be amazed by you and your rhetoric. I apologized for saying you were acting like a d!ck. That was my mistake.
