Good thing we're reinvesting the Thiago millions. Martínez will also leave for sure, so Flick needs another option in midfield.
They said they don't want to bring in another midfielder and trust the roster, with Perisic also gone it seems the budget seems really tight due to Corona. Tolisso, Cuisance and Fein will already struggle with minutes in midfield, so maybe this season is for developing prospects. I'd still love to see a proper Thiago replacement though, except for Kimmich we don't have anyone I'd trust to hold possession vs pressing teams.
Great deal for Spurs. But sucks as a United fan to see these players they're targeting continue to sign elsewhere. Still can't, for the life of me, understand why the Glazers keep Ed Woodward around. He's more useless than Bill O'Buttchin.
This Bayern team looking pretty solid, eh. If we can keep up with the tight schedule and don't suffer from injuries, we should be CL favourites again.
Lewy looks a bit mentally slow tonight. That is, compared to the other Bayern players. Schalke players, on the other hand...in for a long season. LOL, that said...that assist...haha.
And this kid just scored. Damn, Schalke used to be somewhat respectable two years ago, what a downfall.
Since it's Schalke, probably yeah. But I don't see this as his fault. They went for full NBA rebuild, sold any solid player to devlop youngsters, maybe now realized there are no draft picks in football.
Barca fans rioting online, as Koeman has told Puig he doesn't plan with him due to his lack of physicality and told him to find a new club. Puig is their biggest talent (central attacking mid) and has been their best midfielder in basically every game he played, according to fans.
