James Harden opposed to practice with his Rockets team

He is more of a guy who likes playing games. There is no amount of practice that can equal an actual game. Harden doesn’t like walk thrus and all that he just wants to come out and play

 

I saw pics of Harden and PJ at the Turkey Leg Hut a day after we got knocked out and I have come to a definitive conclusion that we gave LA those 4 straight games because Harden and PJ wanted to indulge in a decadent piece of poultry. CP would never have done such thing since he's vegan now.

I guess he afraid he cannot become MVP lead or highest point score shooter to ensure his super max salary. If the new coach focus on defence, he will no power to shoot, shooting accuracy reduce. That is why he likes MDA more. It depends Tilman wants to get the champion or just run a team which can get into playoff

 

If anything Harden is TOO coachable. He used to have a nice Mid-Range game and play off the ball more before Morey got in his head and MDA tried to turn him into Steve Nash 2.0

Kobe worked with both McGrady and Harden. He basically reinforced the idea of how many shots you can get up during numerous private sessions as opposed to playing pickup ball. The idea is these guys are already stellar one on one and need more work on perfecting their scoring such as a thousand shots for themselves. The only thing Harden is doing wrong is not playing pickup games with his own teammates if and when they can.
