Easily pho for me. Mexican side of my family seems to like the occasional menudo, but I've seen them eat more 30cent ramen noodles to be honest. But I haven't really seen them in person for long in years so who knows.

I like my food to POP. I like HEAT. Menudo comes off bland to me. Pozole though, now that's something that can compete with pho in my book. Pho still wins... probably.

Never tried menudo and I have no intention of ever eating digestive tract my entire life. Queue all the people telling me it's the best thing ever. Great, you eat it then.

My mom owns an exotic meat company, so occasionally I'll eat some of her products. Mostly venison, duck, and rabbit sausage.

Chances are really, really high that youve already eaten digestive tract then.

Also, can I get the name of that exotic meat company? Always looking for different meats.

Probably, I just mean I am not going to go out of my way to eat a dish containing tripe.

It's pretty good. The first few times I had it I didn't realize it was tripe but thought it was some kind of noodle.

I'm sure it is. I don't doubt that it tastes good. It's mostly a mental aspect for me. Knowing that I am deliberating eating tripe would gross me out, regardless of how it tastes. It's the same reason I don't really eat hot dogs anymore even though I have no problem with the taste.

the most questionable thing i ever ate was tripe tacos that some dude was selling out of a cart on a street corner in mexico city. it was midnight and i was drunk and didnt even know it was tripe till i started eating it and saw that the meat was a bunch of little macaroni-like tubes. "this isnt pork!"

    wasnt bad though!

Tripa tacos are my go to at my local spot. They have to sear those little macaroni tubes for the crispy edges.

Tripe tacos sound interesting. I used to not be a fan but after having it in Pho and congee I like it. I don't think I've ever had tripe outiside of soup or stew.

Imma vote Pho but I'm a total gringo loser because I prefer it with egg noodles.

Yes I know that's not technically pho, but I get everything as close to Pho as possible and just swap out the noodles.

Love me some Khao Soi!! But its really not a soup like Pho or Menudo. Its basically curry with noodles and other stuff. Closer to Pesole which I also don't consider a soup
