I'm curious to see it but for me Jason Sudeikis does the best Biden. Woody Harelson was ok and I don't know why the hell any one thought that John Mulaney could play Biden..
Jim Carrey is a waaaay out there on the far left politically, but at the same time, probably the best living comedy-skit performer. Probably looking at reprising something along the lines of the Fire Marshal Bill character from In Living Color.
Woody Harrelson is so underrated. I'm laughing right now just thinking of his fake teeth (as Biden on SNL). Jim Carey will be... interesting. If he sinks his teeth into the role (no pun intended), look out, he'll only get wilder as time goes by. I do hope they don't over rely on him like they did Baldwin.
Eh, I thought McKinnon really got her cold robotic qualities pretty nicely. Wasn't flattering at all: One could say depiction of Trump was "more ridiculous," but come on: he's a more ridiculous than most members of our species. This was on point and properly pathetic:
@Os Trigonum Biden is facing Trump And the D&D turns all subjects into one he who controls the spice controls the world
Yeah.... most politically polarized time in my life, or at least, my memory (I was a 1 when the US left Vietnam). Everything is political. Funny thing is, most people are against Trump. It’s his own blathering the vocal minority that keeps him relevant.
So maybe... perfect casting? Agree with others that the SNL paean to HRC was super strange and nauseating. I never felt sorry for that woman -- she had an election to win and fumbled the ball.
If anyone thinks that SNL hasn’t mocked Democrats especially Joe Biden hasn’t been watching. Check out the skit where Joe Biden goes to sensitivity training. Some of Jason Sudeikis’ best work.
