TRADE HIM! Spoiler: 2 SPOILERS TRADE HIM FOR HARDEN @Williamson Spoiler: spoiler 2 TRADE HIM FOR HARTENSTEIN
Prediction: PG-13 will be traded to Brooklyn for Dinwiddie, Levert, and Waller-Prince. Brooklyn goes all in on star power and the Clippers get a point guard, a shooting guard and a backup forward.
lol kawhi didnt prove nothing to me...winning on stacked teams while being load managed with best coaches ever doesnt prove a thing
He doesn't seem like a Joker to me. Nope, I think he's the kind of center we need to defend our baskets and snag those rebounds. When's the last time Houston had anyone get 22 rebounds? We got 30 as a damn team.
That's why small ball is bullocks. The dumbest move we made was getting rid of Clint and giving up on Hartenstein.
Can we NOW shed some light on how overrated Doc Rivers is as a coach? From Kevin O'Connor's article today: I never thought he was a good coach to begin with, even when the Celtics won the ring due to all of the talent they had.
If the refs give this series to the Lakers by having those guys blatantly sway the games, then honestly, the NBA isn't worth watching any more. If the final games come down to "foster" ignoring fouls LeBron and AD make, but putting Denver in foul trouble for the same offenses it will be really hard to watch.
Clippers really did not impress during the playoffs. They lost 2 games vs Dallas and they were lucky that Porzingis went down, not that he is amazing or anything but that made life much easier for the Clippers since they could put all their focus on Doncic. This is probably one of the worst choke jobs I've seen, especially considering how stacked the Clippers are. Two stars in Kawhi and PG (even though Pandemic P played like ****), a bulldog pointguard in Bev and an above, a good young center in Zubac and a good PF in Marcus Morris. And the bench is by far the most talented in the NBA with Harrell, Lou Williams, Reggie Jackson, Shamet and Green.
Kawhi faded in the second half of the Finals last year as well. Lowry, Fleet, and Siakam covered for him.
Hate to see the Lakers win it all, especially considering that they had such an easy time with trash ass Portland with plenty of injuries, Houston with a banned House and Russ just coming back from injury playing like ****. And now they're going to face the Nuggets who is a nice team and all but they almost lost the first round to the Jazz and Clippers had to choke big time for them to make it through yet again. And then in the finals the Lakers are going to face a mediocre Heat or Celtics without Hayward.
Everyone knows that Kawhi wouldn't have been close to winning the title last year if the Warriors wouldn't have been so injury riddled.
Players, even great players, have ups and downs. Just because a guy averages 25 or 30 a night doesn’t mean they literally Score that number every game. I don’t think it’s fair to roast Kawhi for a bad game any more than it is when Harden has a bad shooting night. It happens, but you’ve got to look a lot the cumulative performance. Sometimes bad shooting (or good shooting) in a key game is just bad luck.
