I’m praying Kawhi asks for a trade and clippers HAVE to trade him to where he wants to go. You’d have to think I’d be between Houston and Milwaukee then u give the ultimate BARGAIN DEAL KAWHI FOR HOUSE, GORDON, COVINGTON
Give me Booker, Oubre, 1st and a 2nd for Harden Send Westbrook to the Knicks hope to get some picks and Robinson back Trade Gordon and PJ for young rotational players
Why would Kawhi insist on Rockets? Is there a strong relationship with Harden or Russ? East was an easier road for him. Heat, Celtics, Raptors, 6ers are all loaded with better more attractive assets too. If Rockets have a chance with any Clippers player it might be Paul George. He loved playing with Russ.
Rockets get: Al Horford Tobias Harris Kendrick Nunn Rockets get a center that can space the floor and play PnR or pick n' pop with Harden. They also get that illusive talented big forward and a good replacement rotation guard. They have to wince at these terrible contracts but there really isn't many other avenues to get better other than taking someone else' bad contracts to fill your gaps. Heat get: Russell Westbrook Heat get that 2nd all star player they've wanted. Russ really fits the heat culture of being in shape, hustling, and relentlessly taking it to the rack. They basically only give up Nunn to get him. 76ers get: Rockets 2021 1st rd pick Andre Iguodala Eric Gordon Kelly Olynyk 76ers somehow get out of the disaster of a contract they gave an aging Horford, saving $17.7M in cap. They have to give up a good player in Harris (another terrible contract) but they get a sharpshooting big that can play with and without Embiid. Since they want to keep both Embiid and Simmons, my guess is they intend to "go small" playing Simmons at the 4 with more shooters around them so Gordon should help.
If we are to use the kings connections with our former assistant Gm becoming their GM. we can do a 3 way deal of some sort with Cleveland with Harrison Barnes going to Cleveland and Danuel House and picks and young NG/low end contracts going to Sac.We can pry Love and Garland from Cleveland. Once we get him we let Austin Rivers walk. Sign Jeff Teague to Vet Min. Sign Serge Ibaka to MLE, sign Rodney Hood to Vets Min now u close to replace Eric Gordon and add a Kevin Love Russ/Teague Harden/Garland/Hood/Ben Mclemore Covington/Nwaba/ Gerald Green PJ/Jeff Green Love/Ibaka Ibaka will give u spot mins of C and not mess up spacing, Love is our third star can run some offense thru him. We definately get better than clippers, warriors too outside of the fact is they get Giannis. We would also have more mature players in the case of a lakers series. Kevin Love would be more consistent than an Eric Gordon. Woud need 1 of Teague/Garland/Hood to step up in a playoff series. Hopefully we can run a deeper rotation with our new coach. Rooting for JVG/SVG combo
heat are a NBA finals level team. They arent giving away their chance at Oladipo or Giannis and trading for westbook
Get pg13 to form big 3 and than get cousins or upgrade the bench by looking for clipper bench players to join
Only guy I would want from Cleveland is Andre Drummond. His game has evolved. Now a legit DPOY candidate, led NBA in rebounds 4× and was top 10 in both blocks and steals. Also has developed a 3ball.
PHX: Russ Westbrook ORL: Eric Gordon, Danuel House HOU: Aaron Gordon, Kelly Oubre Jr, Ricky Rubio MLE: Aron Baynes 6'5 Harden 6'5 Oubre 6'7 RoCo 6'9 AG 6'10 Baynes Bench: PJ, Rubio, Nwaba, Green, McLemore Vet min signings: 6'7 Ryan Broekhoff (40% 3P), 6'9 Bruno (7'7 wingspan), 6'4 Tyler Johnson (37% 3P), 7'0 Dragan Bender (guard skills), 6'6 Justin Anderson (36% 3P, 7'0 wingspan, 44" vert)
I love that you remain steadfast on loving Aaron Gordon, if he does ever breakout into a star, I'll go right to you.
3 team trade with suns and Newyork. Many will say its uneven and houston will be tanking. But just think about it that houston gets #8 and #10 in this years draft from sun and ny while putting a decent lineup out on the court. Gordon can be your Harden lol http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y3ddj8b5 Ayton J.Randall Oubre/Knox Gordon / # 8 Payton / #10 It sets up the future thou. Oubre Ayton are great players, Knox coming off the bench is not shabby. Never know what kind of picks you can get , and you get some future payroll in 2 or 3 years to add some key stars if you want to build off this roster.
