I think we could beat Denver but I don't think the lakers series was winnable so it doesn't really matter. If you replay that lakers series 10 times the rockets lose it every time.

I’m very interested in seeing how Denver does against the Lakers

I give them major props for coming back from down 3-1 not once, but twice, but I’m not gonna gloss over the fact that they were indeed down 3-1

if Utah had finished them off in game 5, we wouldn’t be talking about them

credit to them for never giving up and always believing, and I’m gonna need Kawhi to get all the slander

14 points on 6-22 shooting in a game 7 as he blew a 3-1 lead...Harden has never done anything close to that embarrassing

it’s only an opportunity lost if you’re saying that if we had kept CP3 and Capela, we could be playing a Denver team that we’d dominated for years

With capela? Yes. Without him? No. The reason why we used to kill the nuggets is because we’d put jokic in pick and roll hell.

Jokic would’ve dominated and they would’ve double teamed James

Lebron/AD is a whole lot different than Murray/Jokic.

Kawhi already carried a team to a chip he won't get slander.

pG13 however has proven once again he's the worst playoff choker in recent times.

You wonder why OKC for **** blown to pieces in the past two years with WB and Playoff Pee

Like they barely scraped by the Thunder...

No, not the Nuggets or Lakers or Clippers (and not even sure on the Mavs or Blazers)

Maybe the Jazz? (Who were up 3-1 on the Nuggets)

    Rockets ain't even that good.

If we were actually favored against them like the past couple of years, absolutely. We most certainly wouldn't be blowing a 3-1 lead against them.

kawhi scored 0 in the 4th tonight

he also did not carry the raptors

fred vanvleet came up bigger in the finals than kawhi

if kd and klay don't get hurt, the warriors win in 5

kawhi got lucky but he will be forever immune from slander from casuals

To be fair, Kawhi had some very impressive playoff performances last year. But Raptor's supporting cast was also underrated. Without Kawhi, they're 1 game away from making the conference final. And they got really lucky in the final, if Klay didn't go down in G6, Warriors would win that game and who knows what could happen in G7.

I don't know if the Rockets would beat the Nuggets, but I like their chances a hell of a lot more than I do against the Clippers.

But I was very confident the Rockets would beat the Lakers. What happened to that Rockets team from the fourth quarter of Game 3 on is still somewhat mysterious to me.
