Last year he had VanVleet, Lowry and Siakam to bail his ass out, this year he had Playoff Pee. Hahahaah damn son you should've just stayed in Toronto, probably would've made the ECF every year with that group.
If Conley had not have broken his face, they were giving the warriors all they wanted in 2014. Jokic and the nuggets took a lot from the grizzlies as far as the offense goes. I hope they can do it.
I wouldn't call Paul George a superstar. Kawhi, though, this is bad for him. I like the dude. I wish more superstars were introverted like him. Today, there's him and Jokic. They were common back in the day. Anyway, Kawhi has some work to do to clean up this mess. He's relatively young, but his body might not be made for a long career.
I agree. We choke every year. Fireworks all year, but when it gets to the playoffs it's like the fireworks fizzle like duds. The stars shine bright during the season and then twinkle off and on in the playoffs when it matters most. Ugh
Harden doesn't have an amazing big center like Jokic to take advantage of the double-teaming. It isn't the same thing at all.
Why, though? The question people are trying to evaluate is how good players are (or in this case, if they are chokers). We KNOW Kawhi and Curry have led teams to championships and made clutch plays. We don't know whether Harden, Westbrook, Playoff P, etc can or not. I'm not sure why it would be unfair to not label Kawhi a choker when he's proven to be clutch in a way that a Playoff P or Harden hasn't?
Paul George had fewer made field goals (4) in game 7 than the number of first round picks the Clippers gave up to get him (5).
Because losing in the playoffs doesn't mean you are a choker. I That's a complete lack of context for someone's career. Is Barkely a choker because he couldn't win one, is Steve Nash a choker....no, they just ran into better teams. Sometimes the other team has more talent. Kawhi just lost a series he was favored in, was up 3-1 in, and blew leads in multiple times. Its not a good look.
Depends. Jokic will take a lot of those rebounds and second chance points we gave the Lakers. We had nobody to defend the rim. That in itself, along with the fact that they didn't lay down and give up every game like us might make it a good series. But........I honestly have no faith in the refs calling fair games for anyone going against the NBA's favorite Lakers. That's especially the case with crybaby LeBron getting the royal treatment by calling himself the king.
True, but he can't get out there and make the shots for them when they are throwing a bunch of bricks like tonight.
