    Sadly there are a lot of people who will vote for that.

    This is a point I've made that there is a dangerous anti-intellectual movement in this country. Trump didn't create it but he certainly is pushing it.

    Translation: "I don't think there is consensus among scientists that the effects of climate change is driving these wildfires."

    Which, I don't know, it may be a fair statement. At least it sounds more credible.

    Why should we have a president that is all ways in the need for a translation?

    Especially with him speaking english to english speakers.

    Yep...I remember people voting for him because he says what he means and means what he says. Yet his comments oftentimes have to be explained or walked back.

    My own guess is that Trump knows the basics of the science of Climate Change but doesn't care and has no interest in knowing more. He knows his supporters and backers don't believe it or are against it because it hurts them financially so there is no reason for him to support the science behind it.
