Dr. Li-Meng Yan, a former researcher at the Hong Kong School of Public Health, posted a paper on the the open-access repository website Zenote, that she claims shows how SARS-CoV-2 could be “conveniently created” in a laboratory setting in six months.

She needs work done before I could trust her.

I would definitely hit but may need a beer or two to get past those glasses.

    ETA:
You figure that Fox News would have a budget to fix this. SMDH.

You missed the part where she said “could be.” Yes a virus can be created in a lab. Your point? All of the data thus far still proves it technically came from a bat originally and then jumped species to a pangolin then to a human among other potential species like dogs, etc.

Could it have “escaped” from the lab instead of the wet market?... sure. Does it make any sense to drop a virus intended to target Donald Trump, Trump supporters, and the United States.... In Wuhan China.... just minutes away from the lab itself... killing many many Chinese citizens in the process?? Also to do this without a vaccine or therapeutic already created so they could own the solution and profit off it makes no sense as well.

So you can push this fever dream conspiracy theory if you want in order to shield blame from Trump from having a disastrous response but in the end this theory is just plain stupid. Whether it escaped a lab or did come from the forest from a bat directly to a wet market with no lab in between really doesn’t matter. The fact is bad lab management in China or not, dangerous novel virus responses are something any competent president needs to be prepared for. This president failed on a massive scale, lied about it, and has continually put people in a greater chance of death just to serve his own ego driven interests.

Here’s a simple question to consider as well. Let’s say China is at fault with Covid originally. Let’s just play that hypothetical.

Have you ever heard Trump or one of his cult followers EVER actually talk about a solution to being able to better hold foreign counties in check with pandemic prevention measures? Have there even been any solutions at all suggested other than just vote for Trump and give him your loyalty for life?? Anything??

Because all i hear is b****ing, conspiracy, and blaming everyone other than acting like grown a$$ adults and actually talking solutions.

Talk about a true “Nanny State.”

I fully agree. The idea that the PRC created this deliberately to get Trump doesn't make sense on the face of it considering how much damage it's done to the PRC.

The CCP is authoritarian and has little respect for life but they aren't stupid or crazy.

Well that was fast . Do I owe you lunch ?

    1. post random article about a topic
    2. D&D turns it into the same topic as the entire D&T I mean D&D or D&T
    3. Can’t wait to post about aliens or Elon musk and see how fast they turn it into the same unrelated topic

There’s an article if you click on the twitter link
    @Os Trigonum
The New York post is a news site for New York and world related news

    the process is
Read headline, click article, read it
Then make an opinion about it

and nobody does this but I’ll keep to tradition

So it was not a random article about a chick but something you wanted to debate?

    So go ahead and debate.

From her article that nobody read:

The evidence shows that SARS-CoV-2 should be a laboratory product created by using bat coronaviruses ZC45 and/or ZXC21 as a template and/or backbone. Building upon the evidence, we further postulate a synthetic route for SARS-CoV-2, demonstrating that the laboratory-creation of this coronavirus is convenient and can be accomplished in approximately six months. Our work emphasizes the need for an independent investigation into the relevant research laboratories. It also argues for a critical look into certain recently published data, which, albeit problematic, was used to support and claim a natural origin of SARS-CoV-2. From a public health perspective, these actions are necessary as knowledge of the origin of SARS-CoV-2 and of how the virus entered the human population are of pivotal importance in the fundamental control of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as in preventing similar, future pandemics.
